Oak Bay Village Night Market
Final Market of the Season!!! Oak Bay Village closes down its street once a month and is transformed into a European style street market. You’ll find a wide range of fresh and local produce and hot-n-ready street food available. There is live music (watch out for people dancing in the street!), a magician, pop-up theatre, face painting and balloon animals. Artists and artisans showcase a variety of unique treasures!

Sidney’s iconic Thursday night market is returning to Beacon Avenue this summer! Following a Request for Proposals process, the Town of Sidney has signed an agreement with Victoria-based Blue Coast Event Group to operate the Sidney Street Market on Thursday evenings throughout the summer.

Vancouver Island Music Fest
Over the years, the VI Music Festival has grown from a small gathering to one of Canada’s premier Roots, Folk and Global Music Festivals. They celebrate excellence in many forms of music. The Festival features 5 to 6 stages annually at the Courtenay Exhibition Grounds with each stage having its own distinct personality. They are proud of their musical diversity as well as our inclusivity and accessibility within the Community. They are a family event with a large campground.
